Cold Hollow Cider Mill

A working cider mill on Route 100 between Waterbury and Stowe, set in a 19th-century farmhouse and dairy barn. Since 1974 it has pressed fresh cider on a century-old rack-and-cloth press, and it's become one of the most-visited spots in Vermont — famous for that just-pressed cider and its warm cider donuts. This is where the half-gallon that vanished in one night came from.
